The smoke column of the tornado of fire was visible at a distance of 40 kilometers from the plant, dedicated to the manufacture of plastic products.
A tornado of fire has been filmed after unleashing a strong fire on Tuesday in a plastic factory in the county of Derbyshire, in the United Kingdom.
Rescuers explained on Facebook that the unusual phenomenon occurs “when cold air comes in contact with hot air, which causes a whirlpool similar to that of a tornado.”
According to reports The Independent, the huge column of black smoke could be seen at a distance of 40 kilometers from the facilities of Ravensbourn Plastics Ltd. It took 12 hours of work to control the fire.
The fire caused significant damage to the infrastructure of the plant, but caused no casualties or injuries.
